San Juan Island Fire & Rescue is now accepting applications from the community for the upcoming 2023 EMT Course. There are limited class seats available for this Washington state accredited course beginning January 4th, 2023. Applications can be downloaded here or picked up at the office of Station 31, 1011 Mullis Street.

The course will run a swift schedule of approximately 180 contact hours over the 11 weeks, requiring a solid commitment from those that are interested. Classes will be held at Station 31 Wednesday nights 5:30-9:30 pm and every Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

After completing the course and successfully passing the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician exam, participants will be fully certified, Washington State EMTs and can partake in shifts with San Juan Island Fire & Rescue’s daily response crews.

Applications are due by November, 28th 2022 with interviews taking place soon after.
